We are seeking a motivated and passionate Intern/Provisional Psychologist on behalf of our client, a reputable healthcare provider. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual currently pursuing registration as a psychologist, offering hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments under supervision, utilizing a range of diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling services to clients, in alignment with evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client, with guidance from a supervising psychologist.
  • Engage in case formulation and contribute to case discussions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for AHPRA registration;
  • Experience or interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
  • Experience or interest in providing clinical and /or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and / or other relevant sectors.
  • Strong interest in developing clinical skills and gaining practical experience in a supervised setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

  • Annual salary of $70-75k + super + $12k travel allowance
